The night is descending
Come now with me,
Into darkness
Velvet sweet delight
Softness, can you feel it
Stillness, roll inside it,
Puncturing reality anew
As the light releases and is gone
Until there is nothing
But the true
To shimmer in the mind
Within the heart
Cocooned



Can you see
We are not alone
Shivering gently
Overcome
No energy to stand
Ease down
Softly into the sand.
Pause, listen, hear
The night calling
A sweet echo divine,
It hides
More mystery to find.
With gentle fingers reach
To touch
Into the darkness
Of time
Feel it
Know it
Eternity
Forever yours and mine.
