Lord I want to hear Your vespers
The songs within Your hills
The buzzing bees and chirping birds
Give my soul a thrill
There's laughter from the children
Swimming by the lake
And rainbow trout are waltzing
Dancing at daybreak
Lord I love to hear the vespers
That echo from each vale
The shadow of my worries
Here, cannot prevail
For every sounding note
