~ Victory ~

Touch the face of God, my friend,
Your pain forever gone.
You'll walk in Heaven's glory,
The victory now won.

For Jesus paid the price for us,
How bittersweet the tears,
That bring us to eternity,
With no more doubts and fears.

Touch the face of God, my friend,
And as you fly today,
Go higher than you've ever been,
And hear me as I pray.

And I thank the Lord for knowing you.
Reaching for the stars, I gained the faith,
To ride on the hands of time again,
Until I, too, can touch God's face.
