We accept God's
blessings in many ways
And too often without any thanks or praise
On this day we give thanks to Him in prayer
For our family and friends that we share.
On this Thanksgiving Day, dear Lord
We bow our heads in humble prayer
Thanking you for every blessing
Given to us with your loving care.
Our Thanksgiving candles are on display
Reminding us that you, Lord, light our way
And we are thankful to embrace this day
As we pray for loved ones far away.
Lord, on this day as we give thanks
May we remember the key of life is living
And to make each day of our lives
A wonderful day of Thanksgiving.
