~ What I Believe ~

A friend of mine once informed me
That Jesus was in my poems too often
She said that people might read them
If I would change a little and soften,

But just how can I do this friend
How can I leave our Lord Jesus out
Because if it were not for his love
What would the world be all about.

He has been my savior in my trials
He has always been there for me
He has saved my life more than once
Without his miracles I would not be.

And I know friend without a doubt
He has sent many angels my way
He sent them in the form of you
And I hope you are here to stay.

So if I write about Jesus too often
Please excuse me for my foolishness
Because I can't exclude him from my poems
Because I know me, he has richly blessed.
