~ When Today Is Gone Forever ~

When today is finally over,
And you look back upon your day,
What will you remember?
Did you do something good today?

Did you call a friend to tell them,
That you had them on your mind?
Did you let them know that you are there?
Did you reach out to be loving and kind?

Or did you waste your day away,
By having nothing but negative thoughts?
Do you see now your time was wasted?
The day was counted for God as naught.

When today is gone forever,
And it is time to rest and let your heart dream.
Thank God for sending you people to help,
And then look forward to what tomorrow will bring.
