~ Where
Are You?
~
Sitting
in the
darkness,
Tears
were
streaming
down;
Shoulders
bent
with
burdens,
She made
not one
sound.
Her lips
began to
tremble,
Then I
heard
her say,
“Lord,
where
are You?
I need
You
today.”
My heart
is
filled
with
pain.
It seems
like
yesterday,
Yet it
was a
year
ago,
My
beloved
passed
away.
I’ve had
to make
some
choices,
Without
him here
to help.
Oft’
times I
feel as
if…
I’m
sinking
in a
well.
Where
are You?
Do You
hear my
heartfelt
cry?
I need
You more
than
ever,
I need
You by
my side.
It was
then I
saw a
vision.
An angel
hovered
near,
Reaching
down he
touched
her.
He
brushed
away her
tears.
He
brought
to her
remembrance,
The
promise
God had
made.
He would
never
leave
her,
By her
side
He’d
always
stayed.
God was
there to
be her
comfort.
In His
wisdom,
he would
guide,
But she
would
have to
trust
Him.
On Him,
she
could
rely.
Then I
heard
the
chorus,
Angels
began to
sing.
All
glory
and
honor
Give to
our Lord
and
King.
She
joined
in the
chorus,
Her
praises
she
poured
forth,
In
Joyous
adoration,
To God,
whom she
adored.
