~ Where Does Love Go? ~

What if in a whisper of wind
True love did pass you by
Would it go unnoticed
or be caught in a glimpse of an eye

Could you hear the call at night
Would it tap with the rain
As though summoned in a dream
Left reaching out, called by name

Somehow caught up in a melody
Ever so enchanted by song
By some alluring bit of notion
Finding where your soul does belong

Will fate repeat or cycle again
Bringing back what was mine
There are four seasons in a year
Maybe mine is a quest for time

So do I need to stand watch
Ever careful of what breathes
or live life's moments freely
Maybe love is what one believes
