Where is the dance
Without you, where is the dance
For there is just an empty space,
Unless you're in the line-up of the beautiful
And central is your cutest face.
It's like a bottom without a top
A sock without a shoe, a baby with no goo,
A kitten with no milk
If you are missing too.
Life is topsy turvey, upside down
A frown, without my friend,
But, when our hearts are moving together
Then the dance begins.
By putting our right foot forward
We start the day with style,
In waltzing with the sweetness of babies
We catch their happy smile.
For here's the gift of basic ABC's
Holding tight the friendship bar,
My friend for
Always
Being
Caring
You are the brightest star.
