Where 'Our Lives' Began ~
I was thinking just today
If I could love you more
I don't think I could, at all
For you I just adore
God hand-picked you for me
He knew I needed you
I found you on the Internet
Something I would never think to do
But God ~ being God and all-knowing
Made sure that we would meet
I read all you had written
That was so very sweet
I wrote a little note to you
In thanks for sharing all your words
Stunned! I got a message back
Sweetest words I ever heard
That is where "our lives" began
We loved each other so
I call you my special friend
The sweetest one to know
We've shared, we've laughed and even cried
But that's what life's about
I want the world to know you are my friend
Wish I could shout it out
You are such a special blessing
The best that life can give
I thank God for you daily, dear
Each and every day I live
Though we're living worlds apart
It's like you're just next door
That's why I can truly say today
I could not love you more
One day we'll be together
I'll wait there in yonder sky
My face will get that special glow
When I see my girlfriend fly
God made us many promises
And I know that they are true
He says we'll know as we are known
And love - that's me and you
It doesn't take a hug or kiss
Nor notes sent every day
