And a voice softly called
Do not be afraid,
For I will be your warmth in the cold
Your power in the weakness
Your comfort in the sorrow
Your peace in the storm.
You do not need to run
I will keep you safe from harm,
Turn, turn, your face to the sun
For if you face your doubt
And give it all to Me
Then from the longest night of agonizing tears
You will be set free.

For every heart-ache you endure
Has put courage in your heart,
Every failure you have passed
Has helped you find the path,
All the pain that you endure has a purpose in My plan
Trust me in the darkness
For, I hold you in My hand.
Don't return now to the yesterdays
Let go of all the burning care,
There is a greater joy found in the pain
It's burden is for Me to bear,
I will be Your peace
Trust Me, I will be Your light
Rest now, I fought for your purity
In Me there is no night.
Let Me pick up all the pieces
Of your life scattered o'er the floor,
Then lift your face up to My love
And you will see the open door.

How else
but through a broken heart may Christ enter in.
Where there is faith, there is love
Where there is love, there is peace
Where there is peace, there is God,
And where there is God, there is no need.
