Why We Celebrate
Easter

The little children's laughter and cheer
As a hunting for buried eggs they go
With their great big smiles and grins
And their rosy red cheeks all aglow.
They dream of finding such tiny treasures
And the candy their baskets soon will fill
They look over here and also over there
To find such treasures to them is a thrill.
But as for me I stop and I remember
The reason for why we really celebrate
It is because of a man who has arisen
The one who died for us, He is so great.
Yes Jesus is the true reason my friends
Why we celebrate this wonderful season
He died on the cross then He arose again
To be the Savior of every man and woman.~*~*~
