Tonight as I opened wide my window
I saw a glowing light
And it came to my imagine
Your life was glowing bright
And God had let me see
You, from so far away
I just had to look
In His own special way
For His wondrous light is joining us
Glory streaming from afar
And all the joy we freely share
I send you in this card
Tonight then, as you look beyond
And see a twinkling star
Know that I am glowing back to you

It is so pleasant to see the sun shining
on the mountains,
even though we have one down in our valley.
Our pains and suffering we often hide,
to spare another sorrow,
but they also urge us
to overflow fountains
of joy and sunny humor to those around us.
When sad darkness within us
creates a sunshine around us,
then the spirit of Jesus
has taken possession of our souls.
