~ You Will Find Me On
The Wolf Trail ~
In the Indian tribe, there is no more sun dance
Young warriors do not take part
The buffalo no longer can be sought
Their skin makes moccasin no more
An Indian maid no longer can be married
By how many horses the young brave bought
You will find me on the wolf trail
Where the Great Creator is
The Indians who have passed this way
Are loved by The Lord from within
As I search the wolf trail
The great Indians have owned
I believe the greatest was the last Comanche
Quanah Parker, Cynthia Parker's son
I wish I had known
But, if you walk upon the wolf trail
You will see buffalo again
The brave young warriors in the sun dance once
more
For the great Indian life
In the souls of the great warriors never failed,
Life has no end, time stands still
Life is forever upon the Indian trail
