I sit here this evening
In the dim of the light

Who are you with?
And where have you gone?
Do I enter your mind?
Will you be back home?
Or have I lost you
forever?
Have your feelings changed?
I'm no longer the one
That you'll give your

I wish you'd come to me
And hold me real close
Please tell me I'm yours
That you love me the most.
My heart is aching
As I'm trying to guess
I fear the worst
But I won't give up yet!
I'll sit by the phone
Here in the dim light
As I pray to the Lord
