~ Words From The Bottle ~

Powerful words and enduring
As she sets the stage
With the ink from the bottle
That drips upon each page

The ink keeps on flowing
The pen is now engaged
As it touches the clean blank paper
And words fall on to page

Words giving hope to the hopeless
Words of joy for the heart
Encouragement to the fallen
To make a brand new start

Words that paint a picture
as the poet pushes the pen
Flowing trails of ink in motion
Telling tales of way back when

The mind is set on memories
of happy times and then
As the ink keeps on flowing
Desiring those times again

Word by word creating fantasy
And dreams within ones' heart
Telling of a secret love
Or maybe snapshots, just in part

The words falling on the paper
A reflection of her mind
Meant to bring someone a message
Of a special kind

Words are tugging at emotions
A broken heart is then made whole
Then she caresses heartstrings
With words of healing to the soul
