~ Words From My Heart ~

The day has come so I can say
What I've kept inside of me
I've always had trouble speaking my heart
So here it goes, please bear with me.

Mom you are my pillar of strength
I owe everything to you
You've loved me and instructed me
My dreams you encouraged me to pursue.

No compliment I can bestow upon you
That's worthy of who you are
You're my mother, my mentor, my best friend
You're my light, my shining star!

So Mom on this day that is meant for you
The words seem to flow so easily
It isn't hard for me to express myself
And tell you what you mean to me!

I love you Mom with all my heart
You were always there for me
I want to thank you for all you've done
And for creating such wonderful memories!
