My dad worked hard
the best man I knew
He never took a sick day and was there for
us too
Thank you Dad for teaching me how to ride
my bike
On windy days you taught me how to fly a
kite
We went fishing, golfing and played ball
Right from the start you taught me how to
crawl
As I grew older I helped you best I could
We tore out that old tree you told me that
we would
You were supportive at all my games
I was so proud that you came
How can I thank you for all that you’ve
done?
Except to say “I Love You,” we always had
lots of fun
You took us to church and taught us how to
pray
You knelt down with us at bedtime I just
want to convey
All the respect and gratitude I have for
you
You let me have my dreams and encouraged
me to pursue
Today is your Special Day Dad
“Happy Father’s Day.”

For where two or three come together in
my name,
there am I with them.
