~ You Are ~

You are my husband, you are my love,
The love of my life, sent from Heaven above.
Together we make it, or together we fail,
But with God in our marriage, we shall prevail.

You have given me so much happiness,
We've had our share of heartaches too.
But I couldn't imagine, not even one day.
Not walking through life, right along beside you.

You are the laughter, you hear in my soul,
You are the one who makes my life whole.
You are the music you hear in my voice,
You are the reason, in my life to rejoice.

I had met my share of heartaches and grief,
And in life wasn't sure which way to go.
And then I met you and everything changed,
I only hope that our love continues to grow.

 

You are the blessing that's made my life rich,
A treasure worth, far more than silver or gold.
I hope our marriage is until death do we part,
And that God blesses our health as we grow old.

I know that I've told you time and time again,
You are more than my husband, you are also my friend.
I love you more than words can ever seem to say,
And I seem to love you more, each passing day !!
