~Your Autumn Charm~
I think I found the treasure
I thought I'd never know
As I searched both high and low
Wandering on the maze of life
Trying every road
For here I saw this little house
And wondered could this be
All that I could long for
I stopped and gazed with sheer delight
Would this really be for me
The pathway lined with aspen gold
A pretty wreathe of love
The corn dolly
Graced with checkered bow
To welcome everyone
Oh, the autumn charm of sheer delight
How shyly shall I walk
Up that charming pathway
My heart drawing in
To the home that I have sought
I imagine your sweet smile of love
Your greeting at the door
Gently reaching
Softly murmuring
I've been waiting for y'all
Thank You Friend! I never came to you,
my friend, and went away without some
new enrichment of the heart; More faith
and less of doubt, more courage in the days
ahead. And often in great need coming to you,
I went away comforted indeed. How can I
find the shining word, the glowing phrase that
tells all that your love has meant to me, all that
your friendship spells? There is no word, no
phrase for the companionship of you. All I can
say to you is this, God bless you precious friend.
