~ Your Musical Soul ~

I touched a note upon the keys
It echoed peacefully
Then floated in my heart, my mind
Your soul for me to see

The note danced by,
a ballet twirl,
unfolding sketch,
surreal, I heard
it form the whole,
the beauty rich,
Your song to hear,
sweet as a bird

I knew it was your lilting soul
My friend yet coming near
Because to me you are a song
The tender ballad that I hear

A sonnet sent from heaven's love
By God who made my friend
True harmony, a joyous anthem
In the mellow notes you sing
