~ Your Rosebud Heart ~

Touch a gentle rosebud
Unfolding delightfulness,
Dewdrops glistening like diamonds
In the folds of loveliness.

The rosebud is your beauty
Gentleness created in your pain,
The dewdrops melt, as years slip by
Memories like falling rain.

The bud opens wide in morning rays
Revealing depths within,
As love builds in you the strength
You are secure in Him.

A rosebud is a precious friend,
Delight in all it has to say,
God's fragrance radiating from your heart,
Lingering along your way.

Though a rosebud may fade and wilt
Unfurling in maturity ,
The sweet fullness of your life
Will bloom eternally.

Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds before they wither.
Wisdom of Solomon II : 8

Go pretty rose, go to my fair,
Go tell her all I fain would dare,
Tell her of hope; tell her of spring,
Tell her of all I fain would sing,
Oh! were I like thee, so fair a thing.
