~ You See My Tears ~
You see inside my heart.
God has shown you my soul,
You can look at me and really see me
We are connected.
We are like one whole.
I hear your music
It echoes my own,
I do not see my tears, when I listen with all my heart
You are goodness and love,
I see your face when I am troubled.
I hear your voice, when I am alone.
My tears, which I shed are like the rain on a sad day
With your help, my tears will go away,
You see my smile
The song I want to sing
You see my tears shining in the distances.
I cannot make it without you telling me of Jesus love
I think of what you told me
I am sitting now on Jesus knee,
In your eyes I see Heaven and Heaven also sees me
Why do you understand me so well
Jesus answered my prayer,
When I had no one at all.
You care for me, I do not know why
I see starlight in your eyes,
My tears make Jesus very sad,
If I cannot be brave today
He will take my heartache away.
My dearest sister,
You look into my eyes,
Even when I cry.
You are there for me in all I try to do.
You are the whisper of my heart.
I thank The Lord for knowing you.
