We'd want to be much closer
But that close we cannot be
'Cause you are walking way over there
Too far for me to see

But still you spotted me
In the daisies blooming sweet
And today we're still surprised
How much we try to reach

With the softness of warm fuzzies
And going the same way
Which has brought us close in heart
In all we choose to say

So our words are prancing o'er the mountains
Our laughter dances 'cross the sea
All for the heavenly blessing
Of the likes of you and me
