~ A Christmas Song ~

There is a song for Christmas
I'd like you to know
It comes from deep within my heart
Just like the purest snow
When I look up at the night
I see a star so bright
It warms me so inside
To see it's awesome light

Then I sing a Christmas song
Of a family I know
Who had a child named Jesus
To set my heart aglow
I hear the harps soft melody
This is such a glad event,
Bells chiming rhythm sweet
For our Savior, heaven sent

A Christmas song, for you and I
Of child so humble, yet divine
Shepherds, wise men and the star
So close, yet coming from afar
Angel's chorus, now I hear
God's miracle of love is near

All through this star filled night
And on Christmas day I sing
Of how a child of God came
God's perfect love to bring
So I sing a Christmas song
Which can never end
Jesus is our Father God
And our greatest friend.
