~A Place for Dreams~

There is a place within my heart
Where little dreams can go.
God gave this space ~
This special place
For dreams need room to grow.

No one else can go there ~
That's why He chose the "heart".
He knew there would be dreams sometimes
From which we couldn't part.

So, tenderly and lovingly ~
He tucks them right in there.
For many dreams and special things
And even little prayers.

There are days we go there
We visit now and then.
Only happiness is stored
There's not a place for sin.

God knew there would be moments
In time we'd like to store.
So He chose they stay within our heart
Where they were "saved ~ secure".

That is the place He set apart
He also chose within our heart ~
To make His kingdom there, you see
The closest place that He could be.

Our Lord just thinks of everything
Who would have thought ~ a place for dreams?
I rest secure with Him above
Because He fills my heart with love.
