~ Apples And Oranges ~
Have you ever noticed how every person is
unique in a special way?
Every person is different, no one alike in
either work or play.
The biggest mistake a person can make is
to try to rearrange,
The qualities that a person has, for they
tend to resist change.
It’s like the person who had an orange,
but wanted an apple instead.
So he took the orange and very carefully
painted the whole thing red.
Then he fastened a stem and polished it up
and put it on display.
And as people marveled, he only smiled for
he had nothing to say.
But they couldn’t touch it for then they’d
know an apple it was not.
So to enjoy his apple all he could do was
sit and watch it rot.
So please view me as a person with
qualities both bad and good.
And realize that change will only happen
if it is understood.
