I was so excited for you
when I got the news today.

A grandbabe in your arms and heart,
oh, how you'll love him so.......
your "baby" is having a baby,
that's the way life's circle goes.


I know you'll spoil him rotten,
for that's a grandparent's joy,
I just can't wait to see you,
with that new grandbaby boy!

You should be so proud...
of the job as mom you've done,
for now come more blessings..
the gift of a baby grandson!


I know that you will shower
him with loads of love,
and I am thanking God
for this gift from above.

Kiss him often for me,
I'll do the same for you,
my friend, I am so thrilled,
now let's go shopping for blue!!!
