~ Blessing Of Innocence ~

I got the news today,
a joy unlike any other...
You told me in your unique way,
I'm going to be a grandmother!

I can't describe the joy
I feel inside my heart...
to tell you of my happiness,
I don't know where to start.

A "grandmother" I will be,
and there's "granddaddy" too!
Oh, how happy you have made us
with this gift from both of you!

A bundle of blessings for us to love,
with all my heart I say...
I am  almost  speechless,
with the joy I feel today!
