As I sit
in gentle silence,
At the end of a blessed day
I bow my head in humble Reverence
And I begin to pray:
"I thank you, Lord for all my blessings
I didn't deserve to receive.
All I did was have faith in you
And dare in you believe!
Let me put my heart and trust
In your Holy name,
For I know without your love,
My life would not be the same!
Give me patience, love and peace
Toward my fellow man;
Lead the pathways of my heart,
Stand by me, hold my hand.
Lift my heart when I am down,
My soul and spirit, too.
I give all my hopes and dreams
In praises unto You."
