~ The Canvas of Autumn ~
 
Thank you for the beauty Lord
As you're painting all the trees
Thank you for the cool fresh morns
And the freshness of the breeze
 
The golden glow of the Harvest moon
Sending beams falling down
Upon the new mown haystacks
With pumpkins all around
 
The flowers of Autumn in colors soft
Spreading beauty all around
Percussion sounds beneath our feet
As the leaves come tumbling down
 
Oh the colors of Fall and how they blend
Show the touch of the Master's hand
All artists who have lived and died
Could never paint a canvas so grand.
