Can you hear Him in the birds up high
That sing their song in the early morn
Can you hear Him in the newborn's cry
On the day that they were newly born.
Can you see Him in the gentle breeze
That softly touches the swaying trees
Can you see Him in the clouds above
Or can you see Him in the depth of a sea.
Can you feel Him in the gentle touch
Of a child so innocent and so sweet
Can you feel Him in the warm caress
Of the one who swept you off your feet.
Can you see Him in a dear sweet friend
Who stands by you through thick or thin
I know that I can see Him inside of you
And I am so glad that we are true friends.
