~ Come With Me ~

Have you lifted up your face today
To feel the first spring rains
Come with me, run into the wind
Across an open field to release your every pain

Have you been feeling very lonesome
And then looked high above
Come see a familiar face unfold
Know in your heart
It is the presence of the almighty God

Have you climbed, up and up, upon a mountain
And looked out to see the view
Watched the lightening strike
To fill the sky with light
Come and wonder
At the beauty of the sight untold
And be safe in the power
Straight from the hand of God

Have you gazed upon the softness
Of a butterfly at play, twirling innocent delight
And listened to all that God might say
Come, this life is worth far more than gold
And is from the very hand of God

Have you seen some trouble brewing
Knowing that it would blow
Into a mighty storm
But then came the quiet calm
Like you have never known before
Come ask, could this miracle have been undergone
By the very heart of God

He is never caught so unawares as we
Because all is in His plan, arranged
Kept, and underpinned
By all that He sees far away beyond
Calling come, to all those who desire to belong
To the loving heart of God
