Country fairs, inviting
picnicing with friends
gatherings of families
'fore the season ends

Ferris-wheels 'n bumper cars
music through the grounds
games of chance 'n music
excitement all around

Painted faces, funny hats
balloons up in the sky
burgers, dogs and soda-pop
children's pony rides

Clowns with funny faces
a petting zoo for tots
souvenirs and photo's
of course a tattoo shop

Feel the tummy tickle
gliding on the swings
taste of cotton-candy
scrumptious onion-rings

Seasons change so quickly
enjoy this Labor Day
fall is on the sidelines
as summer slips away
