~ Daybreak ~
As daybreak sheds the
darkness for a new day
I look out my window
giving God thanks as I
pray
I am rested and ready
for my day to start
And I feel joy and peace
in my heart.
At daybreak everything
looks fresh and new
Lovely flowers sparkle
with morning dew
Hummingbirds already
fluttering around
Seeking sweet nectar to
be found.
Birds are singing from
the tall trees
Their music flowing
through the leaves
White fleecy clouds move
slowly by
As the sun appears in
the eastern sky.
The beauty of God's
daybreak brings peace
His love and grace for
us will never cease
I give Him honor and
praise above
As another daybreak
arrives with His love.
