~ Day Dreams ~
I am here in the south
Caught up in my day
dream
A picture playing in
my mind
Of
fresh fallen snow it seems
Now as my dream goes
on
I'm actually on the
beach
But in my dream again
There's an icicle in
my reach
I see frosty the
snowman
Waving his last
good-bye
That's when the dream
is over
And I open up my eyes
I'm still here in the
south
With the hot sunshine
and all
But I can't boast
about it
I'm not having a ball
You see, I'm from the
north
And the north is part
of me
You can have this
sunny land
A Northerner I'll
always be
Ah, to be back home
again
Where four seasons
come and go
Oh the joy I'd have
again
Because I love ice and
snow
Cold temps don't
bother me
It's the heat that
gets me down
If I could hitch a
ride somehow
I'd sure be northern
bound
