~ A Days Blessing ~

I woke today and smiled,
before rising from my bed...
God gave me one more day,
his word and love to spread.

Each breath is such a gift,
each sight wondrous to behold,
So many treasures in my heart
to cherish as I grow old.



So many tiny blessings,
add up to wondrous sums...
there'll be more to add,
before this day is done.

God, thank you for the blessings...
each day we take for granted,
May our hearts always be open,
where the smallest seeds are planted.
