Embrace A True Friend

Are you sitting all alone today
With sadness in your eyes,
A tear hovering, balancing on the brink
Threatening to cry.



Are your shoulders slumping low
Vulnerable, with a very heavy load,
Such grief of life within to bear
Such longing, where, oh where
Shall you turn
To find someone to care.

There is a very special friend
One you can come to know
He's waiting there
His love to share
His heart for You alone.



Just turn aside
Turn, turn Your face today..
You'll see His warm smile of love
His eyes of gentle peace..

Then fall on down into His grace
And you will find His arms,
His strong and tender care
There, embracing,
Your heart to keep.
