Lovelier than intricate lace,
lilacs with satiny soft leaves,
is spring time's delicate face.
Such beauty springtime weaves.

Iridescence like a rainbow,
are the multiple hues of spring.
Presenting an exquisite show,
colors of birds on the wing.

Scents of spring so refreshing.
Lavender fields in full bloom,
that cause my senses to sing.
The fragrant smell of perfume.

Love is unfolding all around.
Spring lovers holding hands,
love everywhere abounds.
Isn't love marvelous and grand?

Iris' waving like a flag.
Spring, I welcome your presence!
You make my spirit glad.
Spring, I savor your essence!

Through you, divine beauty flows.
Nature is a burst everywhere,
as a dreamy spring breeze blows
sending aromas beyond compare.

Spring, bring your lovely variation,
proclaim the goodness of earth.
You are such a wondrous celebration.
For my heart you create such mirth.
