She's the
life of the party
with a smile for everybody
and she thinks nobody knows
that the smile she is wearing
to hide all her heartaches
is a smile she puts on with her clothes
She can't fit the pieces
of a heart that is broken
they crumble and break when she tries
she can't hide the sorrow
for another tomorrow
with the sadness that shows in her eyes
I can see her alone
in a dimly lit room
as the tears fall down from her face
in the morning she'll wake up,
put on her makeup
put her smile right back in its' place
with the facade she has going
she begins every new day
thinking nobody knows
that the smile she is wearing
to hide all her heartaches
is a smile that goes on with her clothes
