~ Fading Seasons ~

When fall fades into winter
The days grow shorter still
We hear the whisper in the wind
Almost now, we feel it's chill

Old man winter and snow
That wondrous blanket of white
At night such deep blue skies
Filled with stars shining bright

It's such a beautiful season
To behold through the window pane
I do enjoy it's radiance
Now as it comes again

But by the time winter's over
The snow's all melted and gone
I'll enjoy vigorously
The beauty that Spring brings on
