~ Five Coins ~

I'll drop a coin into the fountain
And wish for peace on earth
And hope that everybody recognizes
The day of our Savior's birth.

I'll drop a coin into the fountain
And wish for happiness and love
So everyone may share these emotions
A gift sent from up above.

I'll drop a coin into the fountain
And wish for blessings never ending
They'll be no want for things unknown
No prayers for these will be ascending.

I'll drop a coin into the fountain
And wish for kindness and fellowship
Each person extending out their hand
Showing lots of love and kinship.

I'll drop a coin into the fountain
And wish you a Merry Christmas and New Year
May you be surrounded with family and friends
Celebrating this day with cheer.
