~ Reunion Forever In My Heart ~
Today as we gather to re-new
The relationships from a time now gone,
Our hearts fill to overflow with memory
Of all that we have known.
Let's give a cheer for where we've been,
To be where we are today,
None of us could have arrived here alone
Without the friends we gathered on the way.
We are pulling through for God has been good
What a wonder to look at each other now,
How we've changed and travelled on
Shall we give each other a bow.
We're grateful for the special friendships
All the adventures, and mischievous fun,
What great times we all shared
Yet are we almost sad this day has come.
For we cannot turn back the clock
The corridor of time marched on, no matter what,
But inside our hearts we know of life
Oh yes, we understand a lot.
Thankyou to everyone who can now reflect
Sweetly reminisce and re-play
The laughter, the oneness, the games
And the funny things we'd say.
It does our hearts good to stand together and honor
All we have kept of yesterday,
From my heart I warmly say
May God give one and all
The worlds most beautiful bouquet.
