Forgotten Words ~
On Valentine's Day let's do something different
Let's spend some time, just us two
Let's get to know each other all over again
Let's experience the love we once knew.
Flowers, a card and candy are nice
But how about a dinner for two
Soft music, wine, and scented candles
This time for us is long overdue.
Have we forgotten how to say the words
The words that we both loved to hear
These words once came so easily
But these words were lost through the years.
Time after time you've shown me your love
In oh so many ways
But let's recapture our love of yore
This year, this Valentine's Day.
