~ Friend ~

Before you knock to ask,
Jesus lives here, my friend,
And just like my Lord and Master,
You are also welcome within.

I have no denomination,
It's Jesus Christ whom I serve.
Although I know I'm not worthy,
His Forgiveness, He feels I deserve.

So sit with me and rest awhile,
Take a load off your weary feet.
We can talk about His love for us,
As we break His bread to eat.

We can read from the Holy Bible,
Of all the promises He's made.
We can hold and comfort each other,
Knowing the price of our sin is paid.

Just sitting with a brother or sister,
Who believes Jesus died and arose
Is worth more than any treasure,
In this world down here below.

Thank You, for stopping by,
I so hope to see you again.
To talk about the Lord and Master,
With God's gift that I call Friend.
