~ Friends When From Then ~
If, somehow time could be reversed
Then together we would be
Back when journey had it's birth
In life most pleasantly
For childhood muse holds much the same
So we are, from then, we know
And though apart our lives have been
Our thoughts were not alone
Our journeys may seem twisted since
Yet parallel we walked life's path
And all along God deemed it so
To make us one of heart
For commonality we're finding now
Is from how we have begun
We were together after all
To form us now as one
And that's why we can echo then
The pains, the joys, the tones
How easily affirm the other
From what we've always known
For God in you and God in I
Will always be the same
So it doesn't matter where we've been
Our hearts are one to stay
