Someone very special
One day, walked into my heart,
And I know she is a gift
A twin right from the start.

No matter if she is busy
Or burdened down with care,
Her time is not her own to call
For she chooses to be 'there'.

Through all the ups and downs
The journey of our day,
My friend will always send her smile
In her own loving way.

My twin is a treasured gem
Sent to me with heaven's kiss,
God gave her to me to keep forever
A touch of eternal bliss.

Oh, the comfort
—the inexpressible comfort
of feeling safe with a person—
having neither to weigh thoughts
nor measure words,
but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, know what is worth keeping, keep what is worth keeping,
and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away.  Home is where your Friends are.
There's no place like it.
