GARDEN
WITHIN
God's
only Son
knowing
his fate
to be
in the
moonlight
went
down on
His
knees
all
alone in
the
garden
of
Gethsemane
"Father,
let this
cup pass
from
me," was
his
plea.
To His
own
Father,
making
this
plea ...
but he
would
die for
you and
me.
His
apostles
while
guarding
slept
as our
Savior's
blood
tears
wept ...
His was
a heart
true and
brave
and
willingly
His life
gave.
He did
it
freely,
knowing
it had
to be
...
To set
men's
souls
from
final
death
free.
He gave
it all
that day
for us
for all
eternity
if only
we
trust.
Eternal
life and
salvation,
God
promises
and
deems,
by His
Son's
mortal
life
given on
blood
stained
beams.
At every
day's
end with
thank
you and
sometimes
sin
I go to
a garden
of my
soul
deep
within
To this
garden I
go with
Christ
alone
for it
is of
the
spirit
and my
soul's
only
home.
In this
my own
garden,
with
soul
free
yesterdays
gone,
tomorrows
to be
...
God's
promise
of
eternity
...
Here
within
my soul,
just God
and me.
