Meander here with me,
upon this pretty path
The journey of my heart
To your soul,
Touching softly
Reaching within
Where only God has ever been.
Feel the gentle wind
Blowing cares away,
For here on a rose strewn path
There is so much to hope,
Eternal warmth above
Surrounding, enveloping
To hold us in The Fathers love,
No shadows cross our way
Only the sweetest fragrance
In all He has to say.
Though grey skies hover near
They speak of greater depth
Of Jesus love approaching us
The tears of rain He wept
In love, to still our fear.
Pause at this mountain, be still
He will chase the doubts away,
As His rainbow promises fill our path
Beside still waters, ripples spreading
Softly enclosing our heart
To forever stay.
