~ God's Love ~
As I sit here in my rocking chair
looking down into your sweet face
I run my fingers thru your hair
And give you a mother's embrace
My heart over flows with love
Only a baby could bring
Just knowing you are mine
You precious little thing!
I have to thank my Lord
It was His way of sending some love
To your dad and me
From His wonderful home above
You see He already knew
How much a little one means
When it becomes a part
Of all our hopes and dreams
Thank you little one
You're the joy of our life
As I watch you go to sleep
Closing those innocent eyes
